Wedding Anniversary #62

hi friends , i thought i would just let you know it`s my wife and i, 62nd wedding anniversary today.. not that we were able to celebrate much as my wife wasn`t up to it today .. however i did manage to give her a couple of champers at home ,while i had a couple o ales with friends down at the club and managed to put on lotto for tonite and a couple of keno`s from the club ,you never know the god`s might smile upon us for doing something right after all these years.?.

Unless I missed it...I thought it odd that nowhere in this 'Jehovah Name Documentary' video was no honorable mention made of the individual who invented the name (Jehovah) in the 13th century...Raymundo Martini. Maybe the WTBTS would rather not give too much aire-time to the fact that Raymundo Martini was quite an accomplished Catholic Monk & theologian.

It's interesting knowing that the WT has embraced a hybrid name for God (Jehovah) that has close ties to the Roman Catholic Church! Maybe WT/Jehovah’s Witnesses prefer everyone overlook the fact that they (WT/JWs) haven't really separated themselves from false religion after all but rather pressed to their bosom this Catholic name for God!

Seems like the WTBTS/Jehovah’s Witnesses should be forever indebted & grateful to the RMC!

Bait and Switch "Bible studies"

mark jones, a witness for over 30 years describes what jws call bible studies offered to the public.. .

"they (jehovah's witnesses) offer you a free home “bible” study - which turns out to be a study of a watchtower publication with the bible brought out as an afterthought to try and prop up whatever current idea the governing body are claiming is “the truth” this week.. i think it’s underhanded.. when my parents became jehovah’s witnesses and they offered people a free home “bible” study, this is what they brought to study with them:.

what, did you think they were going to study the bible with you?.

"We have more exciting news for 2023. The Governing Body has decided that the public editions of The Watchtower and Awake magazines have served there purpose after all these years of production...will cease to be printed and will no longer be available to the general public. Won't you agree with me that this is indeed exciting news!!!"

Are Jehovah's Witnesses who are disfellowshipped allowed to communicate and comfort each other while waiting to be reinstated?

i just read about a disfellowshipped person who was looking for other disfellowshipped persons to socialize with.

what does the org have to say about this?.

Here is another example of WT's 'shooting itself in the foot' so to speak! By exaggerating & amplifying how discipline is to be carried out, WT has created another monster...the ex-JW community.

Years ago when the WTBTS became 'Disfellowship-Happy' there were congregations with large numbers of disfellowshipped-ones...our congregation at one time had as many as 16 disfellowshipped members. What were all these ousted ex-JWs to do but to associate with one another. Today you have the by-product in the form of ex-JW forums, YouTube channels, exJW reddit etc in many languages with viewers and visitors numbering into the millions.

I remember our body of elders was asked by the many disfellowshipped ones that we had if it was okay to associate together with other df'd ones and the answer was: 'Yeah...why not'! No doubt that was the thinking of most congregation body-of-elders.

Stupid is as stupid does...WT leadership can thank themselves for the explosive & increasing numbers in the world-wide exJW community...Yay! 😀 😀

Watchtower is Run Like the Mafia

the have a syndicate (governing body) regional bosses (district overseers), captians (circuit overseers), and elders are their "made men" that enforce policy at street level.

if you run your mouth too much, they wipe out your whole family (disfellowshipping).

Another similarity between The Mafia & The WTBTS is the thing called Cosa Nostra or Our Thing...members are never allowed to leave, withdraw membership or disassociate peaceably! Membership is for life...the only way to leave is in a box!

Exercise Patience Regional Convention

the theme of the in person convention this year is "exercise patience".

looking at the convention map, they are really using their assembly halls and they are using smaller civic centers or city arena.

no more huge stadiums.. are they not expecting a great crowd?

2022 Service Report is Out

The results of this 2022 Annual Service Year Report of Jehovah’s Witnesses is very much like a Pet Scan that has been performed on a very sick patient. If the results of a Pet Scan shows cancer growth throughout the body soo bad that the Doctor feels he can't do anything to improve the patient's health...the Doctor will more than likely say to the patient and family to get his (the patient's) affairs in order.

As many of us exJW members know, this year's Service Report doesn't reveal the full extent of the 'cancer' that WT is dealing with...the Service Report is just not that transparent. Suffice to say WT is in very poor Spiritual Health! This next year's 2023 Service Report (Spiritual Pet Scan) will only be worse showing more & more negative numbers...'cancer' having spread more!

How many years does the WTBTS have? Some patients with cancer can survive bedridden for months & years before they succumb to their illness. The fact is WT may be in a 'bedridden' state for many more years...it's ultimate demise will very likely be very slow & painful...the exJW community will see to that...Viva the exJW community!

The WTBTS has given the exJW community a great deal to be greatful for. This 2022 Service Year Report is like a huge buffet...a huge lunch wagon...a huge cafeteria to feast on for months & months to come!
